What Happens at MEGA Sports Camp?
Mega Sports Camp is a sports camp that uses sports to teach children how athletic disciplines can make a difference in their physical and spiritual lives.  We teach soccer, basketball and cheerleading to kids from 1st grade through 5th grade every summer.  Mega Sports Camp 2008 is set to begin every Wednesday night beginning on July 2nd, 2008!

Registration
Every day begins at registration. Kids sign in, get a T-shirt (on the first day), a water bottle and a Name Tag.

Opening Rally
Camp starts with a short, energetic kick-off to the day's activities. Kids and coaches sing high-action songs, receive a warm welcome, and discover the theme and Key Point for the day.

Sports Sessions

Kids choose one sport to focus on during MEGA Sports Camp. They learn new skills, practice them, and then use them in game-related activities. The goal is teamwork rather than competition.

Coaches Huddle
A special part of MEGA Sports Camp is the small groups that Huddle Coaches lead. After their period of positive sports instruction, players huddle up with their small group right at their sports area. The Coach Huddle Guide provides review questions and stories to lead kids in applying the day's key points.

Halftime Break Kids take a moment to catch their breath with a quick snack break at the Concession Stand.

Halftime Rally
Kids experience an object lesson and a sports story that make the day’s key truths take hold in their hearts.

Closing Rally
Kids enjoy active theme songs and an interactive Bible story based on the theme.
