Little Lambs Nursery exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of infants and toddlers ages 0-2.9 yrs. of age.  There is always two adults who are CORI checked, trained and oriented to the Nursery.  The Nursery staff has a heart for babies; you will feel right at home leaving your baby in our care leaving you worry free as you worship our Lord and Savior.  Nursery is provided during all our services.    At the beginning of each service, bring your child directly to the nursery.  You will then receive a number.  If your child needs you at any time, we will flash your number in the sanctuary.

Nursery Guidelines for Parents

1.     The Nursery is for children 2.9 years of age and under.

2.     All three entrances to the Nursery will be LOCKED at all times.  Please knock at the second entrance (half door), where a Nursery attendant will assist you.

3.     Please hand your child over the half door of the Nursery.  Your child will be signed in, their belongings placed in a cubby, and you will be given a number.  To decrease the level of "stranger anxiety" amongst the other children as well as for safety issues, please do not enter the Nursery. You may have to wait for the attendant if they are assisting other parents in front of you or it they are busy attending to a child.  PLEASE BE PATIENT.

4.     Parents or siblings cannot stay with the children in the Nursery.  All staff is properly trained and screened to work with children.  We will do our best to calm your child.  If your child cannot be calmed within 10 minutes (or a time that you feel comfortable with) we will contact you by displaying your number in the sanctuary.  The Nursery staff will then hand your child back to you over the half door of the Nursery.  After you have calmed your child please feel free to bring them back to the Nursery again.

5.     Due to the increase number of children with allergies and to help maintain the cleanliness of the Nursery, please do no bring food into the Nursery.  We provide Cheerios as a snack for the children. Also, please label your child's sippy cup.

6.     A place will be provided for Nursing mothers, please ask an attendant.  When you are done nursing your child, we kindly ask that you return to the service and we will page you if your child needs you.

7.     At the end of the service, the attendant will hand your child and their belongings back to the parent that has signed them into the Nursery.  A brief report will be given to you on how your child tolerated their stay.  We will do our best to dismiss each child in a safe and timely manner.

Thank you for your cooperation.  As our church family grows these guidelines will ensure the safety of your child while they are in God's house.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
